Important Event Notes
  • Promo codes are not applicable to this event. Upgrades and AE redemptions are blocked by revenue management - you get what you pay for.
  • No hockey puck beef will be served! If it is, send it back! (Unless that's actually what you like, you weirdo?)
  • The Do website will be down for regularly scheduled maintenance. Often. But we won't bother to tell you in advance.

Important Event Notes (real ones this time!)
  • The burger and Scotch theme is purely optional. Those are the specialties of the restaurant, but you're free to have a salad and a diet Coke, fish and white wine or whatever floats your boat.
  • Buchanan's does weekly tasting flights for a slightly reduced price. We'll have access to a few of these from recent weeks for anyone who's interested.
  • The Do host has not achieved Dorian's level of wealth and generosity. No T-shirts or other swag will be provided.
  • Reservation is under Adam Smith, but that shouldn't really be necessary. We will be taking up most of the main dining room, to the left after walking into the restaurant.

It looks as though I maybe able to attend after all! A coworker asked for a Saturday shift swap, so I could fly out Friday night or Saturday morning now ... so long as I can make it back to Delta for 10am Sunday, which seems feasible.

I will attend only if someone, other than myself, brings a whiteboard, markers, etc. and we all collectively debate on all existing CBC threads in this forum. In addition, we shall debate about how dumping fuel over the Appalachians hurts the camel species of Quebec.

I will attend if what yyznomad said. But also if at least 1 AC exec is forced to sit through and watch the whole thing.

He flies once to see grandma... every day!

But since he doesn't have any grandmas in Calgary, we will sadly not see him at the Do

Well hold on there, professor... I might be able to fix the glitch.

I propose that an agenda be created for this DO. In addition to the aforementioned items required for debate and speculation, I also propose that we collect donations for a good cause:

The Comfort Mongoose Rights Commission of Middle Uranus.

People have been neglecting this poor species of helpers and it is time that we support this group. Donations can be made in care of the RCHHMP, the proud protectors of rights for anyone and anything that they can find an excuse to condescendingly and pretentiously educate you on how to be the most gagworthy-over-the-top politically correct and righteous one can be.

I will be coming around to all attendees with a donation bag, so please do bring your spare pesos, rubles, and Guaranis.

Thank You.

I and my lightly speckled comfort caiman from deepest, darkest Peru are shocked and dismayed that you would be such a speciesist and select only one particular comfort animal. Did your grandma not teach you better manners during your once-a-year visits?

That is a lot of segments for one flight per year.

So, uh... Milton has been let go?

If you do, indeed, attend the Do, I will be happy to pledge all of my non-Canadian coins to the donation bag.
