Yeah, the old B&O TVs were by far the worst thing about the IC PL!
The remote control buttons seemed to be on a time delay to the TV, and trying to find a particular channel would take most of the evening...!

I had a bit of a lag with mine.
My last 2 stays at the IC PL saw me upgraded from a classic room to an executive suite. On both occasions my room type wasn't modified ahead of stay. It seems that if you are RA it is better for your room type not to show advance modifications.
My next 2 stays sadly already show upgrades to exec rooms.

One had the table 4 chairs, sun loggia and balcony
The other was a new one for me an internal facing suite which was much larger than the normal exec suite (can't remember if it had a dining table but think it might), but with shower over bath rather than separate shower. It also had a separate guest cloakroom

I think I know which one you are talking about with guest cloakroom - that was a good 1 bed suite but i remember it smelling of smoke! don't think I have the photos of that one though. But I think the one with balcony and table is in my photobucket.

I just booked my 2 ITN free nights at the IC Park Lane for October, and got to wondering...
Did London have more than one IC at one time? About 20 years ago I stayed at the Churchill, just north of Oxford St, and at that time it was an IC hotel. Was Park Lane part of the chain at that time too?
