The website for the hotel offers an accurate description of this  hotel conveniently located at AMS. Note that the room rate is less expensive if you book through the  company website. (The only time I have regularly seen this at a hotel chain.)

Automated  kiosk that went smoothly. Staff present to help if needed. 

Room

Nothing fancy. A basic room along the lines of an IBIS. For a short overnight stay while transiting, perfect.

Service

Not needed but personnel were pleasant and smiling and helpful.

Dining

I didn't need it. Many options available within  AMS airport.

Location

10 minute walk from arrivals hall. very convenient, although in winter it is a cold walk outside.

Overall

I have stayed at the Citizen Airport Hotel several times as I needed a  quiet clean safe transit hotel. Citizen met that need and I  received value for my money. I prefer this hotel to some other airport hotels and wish there was one in Bangkok.

Bathroom

Interesting  and novel. It does the trick if you want to  have a shower.
