Even more than the Avion Express exit row, quite impressive.

I cannot help but think that the J product looks extremely underwhelming, especially after such a long wait (7 years?) since the first announcement was made. It's not revolutionary like Q-Suite was (still is), but it also doesn't have the simplicity and reliability of a product such as the Super Diamond. It also looks like a high-maintenance cabin, with all those different materials, nooks and crannies.

The PE cabin looks nice, but are those seats comfortable?

LH having a little bit of fun with the empty first class cabin on this first Allegris A350.

These seats cannot be used, even by cabin crew for sitting – I asked LH about the rationale for putting seats in here at all, they said that the crew need something to hold onto as they navigate the front part of the cabin, and it was easier just to drop in a row of economy seats rather than say mount grab-handles (which one presumes might need some type of separate certification?).

As Rene Magritte would have said if he was alive ‘This is not a first class seat’.

I thought they would also finally upgrade the bedding with the new product, including a mattress pad on all longhaul flights? This just looks like the standard blanket and pillow.

Since every seat in F&C has individual air vents the air comes from below into the seat. That’s what you see on the floor in the empty F cabin. The 8 suites have a mattress pad as standard.

What an awkward way to present their new product, by not showing their (formerly) most prestigious product. Weil done.
