I spent two nights in a Superior Suite (originally booked on a Junior Suite via a Virtuoso agent and then upgraded upon check-in to Superior Suite).

I haven't seen so many reports on the MOP on FT so I thought it might be worth posting some pictures and a few comments on my experience.

Rates were in line with what is advertised on the MO website so no surprise on this side. I had a very hard time choosing between the FS George V and the MO but ended up at the MO as I definitely prefer its location. I can't stand the Champs Elyses and what kind of awful people you're seeing around there.

Room

I can't complain as the layout of the Suite was perfect, with 650 sq ft of living space. The suite has 3 TVs (living room, bed, bathroom), all by B&O (not sure about the bathroom one though and didn't use it anyway). I could have spent a week there without getting bored of the furniture. I think the designers made a superb job with the suites and they're bathing in light with floor to ceiling windows. The bed, as one would expect, is one of the best I've experienced and I slept like a baby. While I'm truly a fan of Frette linens, these were from Josephine Home and did not disappoint!

Review of service overall and the bar to come

Pool

After a good day of shopping, I was more than glad to have it for myself.

(note: I had typed a review of the F&B but got disconnected in the meantime and nothing has been saved. I'll re-write when I calm down.-

Dining

So, now I've got some hours ahead of me at MUC LH business lounge so let's take this opportunity to finish this report.

Breakfast at Camelia

I decided to have breakfast downstairs in order to fully benefit from the buffet and choice available though I'm usually enclined to order it in room in order to avoid the breakfast crowd. The concept of crowd is however rather limited at the MOP (probably different during Fashion Week though).
I opted for a table near the window as the interior court has been very charmingly designed with a urban jungle but more on that later. The breakfast choice was rather good, pastries were excellent as one would expect in Paris and there was a selection of cheese and ham from South-West of France that I was quite surprised to find. I'm not too interested in salty things in the morning but I tried them and they were excellent. It's only later that I got to know that it was the influence of Thierry Marx that brought these products here (he's from that part of France himself). Service was efficient but slightly too much of (everything is going well? Enjoy!). I can't stress how much I despise the "enjoy" everywhere I'm going, especially in the US where it's a national sport.
I would have expected a greater choice of fresh fruit juices as I already saw in many MO such as the Dhara Dhevi (not a MO anymore to my great despair, I therefore cancelled my visit there next February).

Overall it's an 8/10 for breakfast. 9.5/10 being the breakfast of the MO Chiang Mai that has never been equalled so far AFAIK.

Bar service in the interior court

I loved it, loved it, loved it. Ok, I spoiled the suspense but what else could I say? I've been a huge fan of the PHV for years and probably had lunch, afternoon tea, dinner or drinks approx. 70-100 times there. Well, I think I found my new favorite spot!

The interior designer (or exterior designer for that matter) did a spectacular job and I cannot stress how great and refreshing it feels to sit in that urban jungle.

The tables are rather far from one another which makes the place intimate and you never get the feeling that it's overcrowded.
I had only taken a seat for two minutes, my phone rang (who on this planet is crazy enough to disturb me in my piece of heaven?). Well, I took the call anyway and sneezed once. What does that have to do with anything? It's not particularly interesting and my sneezing is rather discreet. However, the bar hostess noticed it and, without a word, put a leather tissue box on the table. How thoughtful and perfect can she be?
It's the first time I receive such a sweet attention + as a hostess and not a waitress, she's not very likely to receive a tip so I have to say, I was more than pleasantly surprised. The rest of the staff was extremely polite and helpful, not too intrusive; perfect to be honest. So splendid training orchestrated by Mr. Leboeuf.

Food-wise, I opted for the Caesar salad, which is a bit my reference along with the Club Sandwich. It was well prepared but not extraordinary as well. I always ask for cherry tomatoes and I got 3 sliced in half. How to say this... I wasn't expecting 20 of them but still... I guess it's more chic.

Overall

Conclusion
Service gets a 9.5/10 and food a 7/10.
