This hotel is right at the foot of Lyon Perrache train station. It is a kind of "historical" hotel in Lyon. I had just a one-night stay but a very good one.

I had booked a superior room and was upgraded promptly to Privilège room. Drink voucher was given spontaneously and I redeem Champagne with it (1st time for me in a Mercure).

Room

The room was large, with a nice view of Fourvière hill. I think it was recently renovated. Privilège room comes with Nespresso machine, bluetooth speaker, bathrobe and slippers. The only criticism I could make is that I found the mattress a little bit too hard for my taste.

Overall

Overall, a good stay. Staff was very nice. Good Platinum treatment. Very convenient if you arrive by train at Perrache station. I would return without problem. I paid something like 160 EUR, which is not too bad for a big city and central location.
