Tired hotel, poorly managed, great location

Bonvoy Gold.  Have stayed at this hotel severlal times before pandemic.  First time after.

Great staff.  First room was dark, dingy, depressing.  No high floors (preferred) available.  Found a decent room lower down.

All room doors close extremely loudly.  Lots of late night hallway conversation and door slamming.

No clock/radio in room.  Wakeup calls not made.

Room not serviced without specifically requesting, and even so, took 3 days to get room cleaned and serviced.

24th Street Ogden...you don't get better than that!

Virtually non-existent.  Poor selection.  Poor hours.

Lots of issues as described here.  Personnel are great, but this is a tired, dingy, ageing facility, with depressing and off-putting public areas (i.e., dining area and bar).
