introduction

Had a night to spend in amsterdam before catching a flight , and instead of usual hotels nearby schiphol i decided to pick up this hotel cause i also wanted to go to cinema by foot

Sorry in advance for the low number of pictures , but it is due to late arrival and early departure , so i barely had time to enjoy the room

Check In

Front desk agent needed a bit of time to find my booking , done few hours earlier while i was somewhere between belgium and netherlands , but her colleague helped her

Stay was in may 2022 , less than a week after hotel opened , so not all processes were ready

For instance no welcome gift or cards , as those havent been sent yet by accor (or were on the way at time i arrived)

About welcome drinks , i had to ask/remind about it . Afterwards i requested those to be brought to the room directly , and it was done in a quick manner

I can share two pics of the lobby i got from google images to give you an idea

Location

As mentionned earlier , it might not be the first location anyone travelling in amsterdam would think about but due to last minute booking it was only affordable option that matched my needs , as its right by metro noord and the cinema pathe noord .

The hotel is in in same building as Mercure Amsterdam Noord . They both opened in May 2022

No outdoor pictures cause i arrived in late afternoon . One thing to mention , to enter the hotel in the night when no one is at reception you need your access card, so dont forget to take it and check if it works when leaving

Room

Booked a double room , and got what i paid for , so no upgrades

Tribe is the answer of accor against moxxy by marriott (to give you an idea)

I liked the minimalist style , and the decoration , which is part of the brand , and also the lights used

Room size was ok for my needs without being huge , again i just wanted a place to stay and prepare my luggages before my next trip

The bed was queen size if i remember correctly , it was comfortable and i had a good sleep . Despite being nearby highway and metro , you can't hear any noise from outside

TV was quite good quality with lot of channels , mostly from benelux, plus few international channels , as soon as i found music i stopped looking deeper

There is a mini bar , with 2 bottles of water if my memory is correct

Plus you have the usual appliances in a hotel room

The bathroom size was ok for a single person, but as soon as two people are moving there it can feel a bit crowded

Dining

No time to eat on site , either in the evening or early morning , but let me show you the bar / restaurant area

First the bar

You can also buy goodies if you want

Then the dining part with tables

and then the breakfast area

Next time if i pass by amsterdam i will give another try and ensure to stay there at least 2 days , so i can test everything

Overall

In overall no real complaints about this hotel , as i had no time to find things i don't like much

Despite being located on the opposite side of schiphol , it was quick to reach the airport through the highway

I mostly wanted to test this brand , as we can expect more Tribes to pop-up around europe in the next few years , now i know what to expect
